MEDIEVAL CAPES AND SPANISH CAPES. HERRERUELO CAPE. PELERINAS, WOOL TOWELS, CLOAKS

The Castilian cape, also called Spanish, is a typically Spanish long garment. It is a traditional outerwear garment that, over time, has managed to maintain its appearance in full swing at the end of the 19th century. It is called "castellana" or also "pañosa" for men, because it is made of cloth with a very wide flare and with velvet bands, (usually red or garnet), as a lining on the inside front edges, also called embozo.

Here you can find different types of capes: Spanish, with a hood, herreruelo, capes, etc.
