MEDIEVAL SHIRTS FOR MEN

  "Los encamisados": They were a kind of commandos, devised by the Duke of Alba in the Tercios de Flandes. Its mission was to surprise the enemy troops resting in their camps at night, causing them a large number of casualties. They wore loose white shirts over their breastplates, so they could distinguish themselves from each other.
