MEDIEVAL APRONS

Apron: Female garment that covers the front of the skirt, to protect it during daily tasks. As it was for work use, it was made of coarse fabrics or strong fabrics. Currently it is used in regional clothing, as an ornamental garment, being made of richer and more attractive fabrics, decorated with purses, bobbin lace, trimmings, etc.
