PETTICOATS AND BLOOMERS

Petticoat: Piece of underwear designed to be worn by women. It is usually a garment fitted at the waist and falls to the desired length, usually to the bottom of the skirt or dress worn over it. Its main purpose is to provide volume and structure to the outer garment, creating a fuller, more flattering shape.

Bloomers: Tight-fitting garments that covered the legs and were an integral part of women's clothing in different periods of history.
