The hood represents a medieval everyday garment, which was mainly worn by farmers, hunters or travelers, in cold weather. Although it is not clear exactly when this garment appeared, it was already worn in the early Middle Ages, even richly decorated. It was in the 14th century, when its use became more common among common people. During the Gothic period, it led to tighter shapes and a narrower and longer tip of the hood. The hood is made of shaggy cotton, giving a very authentic look.
