Short medieval cape, Esquilache model
Short cape. Composition: 80% Wool, 20% Polyamide. Black color. Length, 105 cm. approximately. It is worn over the shoulder on the side where the sword is attached to the belt, to leave the other arm free for fighting. Used in Spain in the 19th century. XVII, following the prohibitions of Esquilache, which replaced the long Spanish cape. (see Esquilache Mutiny). Very suitable for ancient fencing groups (tercios) and for historical recreations of the Golden Age.
